Even when Liverpool reached an agreement of 20 million pounds who saw Ings leaving for Southampton in 2018, Klopp was still hesitant.
At the time, Klopp acknowledged that he was left with a heart of “recovered” after he reluctantly agreed to let Ings move away from Liverpool.
