Carabinieri are an Italian Army department responsible for police service in the country while making a long-term investment in another brilliant car.
Police took on a special Giulia model with a 2-liter engine of 197 horse/power. The engine is paired with an automatic truck at eight speeds while the car speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and reaches a maximum of 230 km/h.
Giulia received bulletproof windows and B4-level front doors, which is enough to protect against large-scale bullets. The car also has rotating lights on the roof and blinker integrated into mirrors.
Inside is interesting because the back cell is enough for just one person, and the advantage is that in that case there's room for three cops.
Alfa Romeo Giulia's surrender has been scheduled for the 70th anniversary since the company's cars first entered the service. The first model was 1900 M Matt, and then there's the 1900 sedan.
Giulia appeared in the 1960s, followed by Alfeta, Alpha Romeo 90, Alpha Romeo 75, Alpha Romeo 155, Alpha Romeo 156 and Alpha Romeo 159. In 2016 the company delivered two Giulia Quadrifogo models to Carabiniere in Rome and Milan.
