Israeli Director for the Balkans: Palestinians are not accepting us, they don't want to live with the Israelites

Director for the Balkans at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also Ambassador to Northern Macedonia Dan Orian, in an exclusive interview for T7, has talked about the recent conflict taking place in Israel between the latter and the Palestinians. Orian said Palestinians in the Middle East [...]
Among other things, Orian said Palestinians in the Middle East are not accepting the Israelites. According to him, Palestinians do not want to live with the Israelites.
Ko statement came after the ambassador was asked why he overcame the conflict so quickly.
I think there are some elements. To start with fundamental issues, unfortunately, Palestinians, our neighbours, are not accepting us, are not willing to live with us in peace. There's always an excuse, an excuse, but after all, there's no real interest in the Palestinian side, from 1947 to today, to sit with us, talk and get into some kind of peaceful agreement. We had some talks in the past, but they didn't result in anything, always because of the Palestinians' negative attitude. What happened this time was a clear tension in Jerusalem, on the Temple Mount. To be honest, there is also a neighbourhood not far from that country, the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood, where a court procedure is under way around several buildings and for the ownership of these buildings. As you know, Israel is offering full religious freedom, which means that tens of thousands of Palestinians and other Muslims are coming up the hill, are praying. No one stops them, they have complete freedom, but from time to time, young people are collecting stones and throwing them away. No state of the world would allow that, especially in these places, and, of course, in such cases we should react. In some photos you see, you see people from the police going to religious places and other places. Wherever there is danger for people, we must intervene and that is our obligation. That's what started this round (of tensions), but for a very long time, Palestinians have been looking for reasons, for excuses, and they say the Gaza shooting is because of Jerusalem. They shoot before and after the shots, because they don't want to live in peace and quiet with our neighbors. In recent years, we have agreements signed with Arab states and Palestinians did not want this to be done and actually threatened by states not to make deals. So if you look at “photographing” large, it shows that there is no interest in the Palestinian side to reach an agreement and they will exploit everything. First and foremost, it is Hamas' organisation, which in its declaration, has the call for the Jews' murder in its constitution. It has nothing to do with the Temple Mountain (Jami Al-Aqsa), nothing else. That's specifically what it says. Killing Jews is one of the objectives of this organization, and unfortunately they have taken all the people of Gaza” hostage, is expressed by Ambassador Orian to T7.
