Talks are held Monday [Today, 10 May] between U EFA and the United Kingdom government for the grand final between Manchester City and Chelsea, and due to take place 29 May.
The government had placed Turkey on the red list of trips last week, meaning that fans could not travel to see the game, writes The Guardian, translates Periscopi into Albanian.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on the weekend that, ” it would be brilliant to be in [the final] neighborhood here if we could be” and that <x2 with two English teams in the finals, it would be a great shame that fans are not part of it. ”
U n EFA was surprised by the decision to list Turkey on the red list Friday, and it is reluctant to move the final from Istanbul after it had done so last year.
Another option being considered is Lisbon, since Portugal is on the green list.
U n The EFA has expected 25 thousand fans to be part of Istanbul's Ataturk Stadium, while only 10,000 of these can be allowed in Wimbledon. /Periscope
