Despite claiming to be innocent, Tyson was sentenced to six years in prison. He spent less than three years at the correctional center in Indiana before being released in 1995.

I got into trouble in the first six months, swearing and standing. And then at that time, I understood the place. Hey, I know how to do this. The other thing I did is I started seeing one of my counselors and she let me have sex with her.
So I was doing good. But the first six months weren't like that... I was a star student in prison.
