The bavarez producer thinks good design shouldn't be popular.
Since the launch of the current BMW 4, and then M3 and M4, the massive new radiator grill has provoked conflicting remarks. BMW enthusiasts often comment more on his model than the characteristics of the vehicle itself.
The reactions of the car lovers have reached the bavarez manufacturer, who defends himself by claiming that the good “dizan is not for all”.
Domagj Dukec, BMW brand design chief, spoke of BMWblog about “the new” in the radiator's shutter.
Duke believes that the new mask can only be seen in the right light when the car is seen on the street.
“We believe that customers will have a completely different opinion about the new mask when they look directly at BMW M3/M4”, he explains.
