Kastrati said there were 2300 Albanians who fought for Croatia's freedom and independence, where 87 of them lost their lives.
” I have been in constant contact and with other friends with the Croatian Embassy here in Pristina, and it has never been said that the Republic of Croatia officially or its president has guaranteed the fighters at The Hague”.
” The chairman of the Union of Albanians, Colak and Kacinari, has sent a formal letter on behalf of the Albanian community in Croatia, both the president and the Parliament, and the prime minister for Croatia's Republic to do its utmost, to give its experience that is extremely great, and to support their friends in this case, Albanians, or KLA fighters, who are located at The Hague”.
This was the official one that was done in the parliament of the Albanian Community ) Republic of Croatia”.
” When no documents are vice versa, no official statements have been issued so far except for what has been exposed there is no Republic of Croatia, will guarantee and support such a request”.
” 280,000 Albanians have fought for the freedom and independence of the Republic of Croatia. 87 of them have lost their lives there in Croatia. One of them is me who's been fighting since day one.
In this regard Kastrati claims that Albanians were the largest non-Croatian community to fight for Croatia's liberation, Klan Kosova reports.
” Albanians are the largest non-Croatian community to have participated in Croatia's fight for Croatia's freedom and independence. And it is normal for the Republic of Croatia to come to the aid of KLA fighters”.
” We have had the common enemy, we are the military brothers, as they say in the military language, and it is very normal that we have expected as an Albanian community that the president and parliament that is the highest body in Croatia like in Kosovo, to come up with a statement or guarantees, which is willing to ensure the Kosovo Liberation Army fighters”.
