The “we warned Government of what would happen if there are closures in Kosovo and in the region relaxed”

Kosovo Economic Ode Chairman Berat Rukiqi has said that at the meeting with government officials, they have warned them of what could happen if there is partial closure in Kosovo, while in the region, especially there are more relaxed measures in Albania. Rukiqi has written on Facebook that Kosovo is very much [...]
Rukiqi has written on Facebook that Kosovo is very close to the region's economies.
“Skopje is only 1 hour away from Pristina, Durres/Tirana no more than 3 hours. Any decision in any matter, not just for COVID, should be in mind. We've learned a lot for a year in the face of pandemic, so we need rational decisions that produce effect on the management of pandemic and don't harm the economy”, he wrote.
This reaction by Rukiqi comes after only Friday it became known that over 13 thousand Kosovo citizens have crossed the Kosovo-Albania border.
This has happened because of measures taken by the Government of Kosovo, respectively, by the Health Ministry to prevent the spread of Ovid19.
These measures forbid citizen circulation from 10: 00 a.m. to 05 a.m., except in emergencies.
Gastronomy services have been forced to suspend their activity from April 7th to April 18th. They are allowed to work only with “services, take away”, “crege by custom” or receive orders without leaving cars.
