Swansea boycotts social media to fight “disgusting abuse”

By 5 p.m. this afternoon [ Thursday], the first Swansea City team, along with the academy players, will post nothing in social media for seven days, and neither the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Snapchat, YouTube or TikTok club.
Bertant Celine also played in this club until about a year ago.
Last Friday, football player Jamal Lowe became the third football player of Swanseeat, who was abused at the racial base in Instagram in less than two months.

In a statement, Swansea wrote: “We've seen many of our players as long as they've only been disfigured in the last seven weeks, and we feel it's fair to take a stand against the behavior that has become a disease in our sport, and the whole society. ”
Even famous players have been abused online on racial grounds.
