There is no doubt that the English were the best team in the first match at Alfredo Di Stephano, but they stopped with a draw of 1-1, the Periscope broadcast.
The Knights began vigorously and had to pass through the upper hand, but Timo Werner somehow missed from six meters away. Fortunately for the German, his associate, Christian Pulisic, scored 1-0 in the 14th minute.
From nowhere, however, Reali evened. Millitao returned the ball to the danger zone from a break, and Benzema brilliantly found space to stick the ball into the net.
There wasn't a lot of complaints by Chelsea's defenders but the goal wasn't supposed to be accepted.
Well, at least so says the Spanish daily Marcha.
A reference expert for the newspaper said: ”Cassemiro caused illegal intervention in Cesar Azpiliceutian before [Eder] Militao fired from Benzema, who marks,” said Juan Anduyar Oliver. /Periscope. com/
