Netflix has many users. But there would be more if people shared their passwords with others.

Unfortunately, this seems to be a difficult problem to solve, and Netflix CEO Reed Hastings seems unwilling to remove all stoppages when it comes to “the impact of this potentially dangerous behavior”, foreign media write, sends out Telegrafi.

After discovering the latest numbers of Netflix subscribers, Hastings was asked by an investor if the transmission giant is looking to “shake up measures” when it comes to preventing password sharing.

At the beginning of this year, Netflix tripled what seemed to be the beginning of a new verification system, with users in many countries reporting a report saying: “if you don't live with the owner of this account, you need your account to continue looking at”.

However, Hastings apparently does not want to become “over”.

And in this regard, he said: We're going to try a lot of things, but we're never going to do something that looks like we're breaking the masses. It should feel like it makes sense to consumers that they understand”.

Netflix's COF, Greg Peters, meanwhile, said that the behaviour of users differs among countries.

He also noted that sharing the password cannot always be intended to be bad, but is seen as a demonstration of love and loyalty among some people. /T
