According to British media, Premier League is considering becoming a British League, adding the two most important Scottish clubs, Celtic and Rangers to the English championship in order to make the product more attractive and commercial.
Nothing new, in short. Only in this case, the only ones who can raise a stir of controversy are other Scottish clubs that would see their league level drop.
Famous “Big Six” (Manchester City and United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal) after abandoning the European project, however, remain convinced of the need for a change.
In addition to membership of Rangers and Celtics, the idea is that of reforming the championship, turning it with 18 teams and applying a kind of playoff among four cash.
