The European Union's special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has met with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, in Brussels, as he has warned of meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Lajcak has posted on Twitter for the meeting with Vucic and the start of a week of hard work, but what stands out is the fact that he mentioned Kosovo when he spoke about the meeting he expects with Albin Kurti.
Lajcak has received criticism as in his conversation with Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislim did not mention the state of Kosovo.
“Starting a busy week of the Western Balkans in Brussels, I met with Serbia's President, Aleksandar Vucic, to discuss dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade and the work ahead. Later this week, I will discuss the same issues with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti”, he wrote.
Likewise, Lajcak in his profile has written the title as the European Union's Special Envoy for the Pristina-Belgrade Dialogue, this term meaning neutrality towards Kosovo-Serbia relations because five EU member states still do not recognise Kosovo as a state.
Lajcak also had recently posted a photo where he saw a map behind him where Kosovo was not perceived as separate from Serbia. /Express/
