Iran's state television reportedly censored transmission more than 100 times during the Tottenham 1-3 match Manchester United, to avoid showing the female side judge.
But why? Well, according to a group for protection of human rights from Iran, the Islamic Republic did not want viewers to see the assistant's bare legs, which were wearing shorts, broadcast Periscope.
Although the judge was simply doing his job, 35-year-old images were not broadcast due to strict religious regulation.
