The condemned deputy minister within Kurti Government once: Official folder “po clicking”

Albin Kurti has appointed in his government a convict for misusing the official bank card as deputy finance minister.

Qazim Thurman, deputy named of Iron Murat, Minister of Finance at the Kurti Government II, was sentenced by the Constitutional Court in Pristina in October 2018 for misusing official office.

At one of the hearings held in court, providing his own protection, Candor had declared that he had not misused the official card for personal gain. But he had acknowledged that this state folder “instead of resorting to lugs”.

"In December 2015 or January 2016, I asked for the official card to be closed, and we agreed with the staff to equalize, I saw that it was not okay and I wanted to remove the card and when I had trips to get the cash ready from the Ministry's vault. Since that time I have never accepted any other folders that I have seen that if you screech the record without the intention of paying taxes for about 600-700 euros for its use”, said Deputy Minister Candman.

The stranger, in this trial process, was tried for allegedly misusing the official bank card during the time he was deputy minister of the Ministry of Labour and Social Management (MPMS), damaging the ministry of about 12,000 euros.

According to the indictment, of the total amount which had been withdrawn, MPMS, Candorman has returned 7,504.51 euros, while the actual damage to MPMS amounts to 4.58.89 euros.

For this work he was sentenced six months in prison, but with his consent, this prison sentence had then been replaced with fines of 3,000 euros, for which he had no complaint.

He was also obliged to return the amount of 4,858.89 euros to the Ministry of Labour and Social Management (MPMS) because he had earlier returned the amount of 7,504.51euro.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti, with his signature, appointed Qazim Kmmani today to be deputy minister of the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers.

The announcement that he was appointed to a government position was made known by Candorman in a Facebook post.

With honor and responsibility, I will continue my contribution to the country and the citizens of Kosovo, respectively, to my community”, Mrmman wrote in his post.

The editor had served as deputy minister in the Government of Kosovo, even during Avdullah Hoti's leadership of the state executive.
