The delicate parapass maneuvers, excessive speed and a lot of other car stuff, are men or women more dangerous in their cars? The debate is that the weather now has new results. According to British researchers, male drivers pose a markedly greater risk to others than women [...]
According to British researchers, male drivers pose a markedly greater risk to others than women driving.
Scientists had analyzed British records of fatal accidents between 2005 and 2015.
The gender gap was particularly large among drivers.
Male drivers were involved in ten times more deaths from accidents than female drivers, broadcasting Telegrafi.
Researchers looked at the number of deaths per mile, divided by gender and type of vehicle.
A German expert believes the results are essentially correct, but there are also places for criticism.
Siegfried Brockmann from the General Association of German Insurance Industry in Berlin believes the study results are essentially accurate.
However, according to Brockmann, the study has some weaknesses: The investigation is related only to those involved in the accident, not to those who caused it. Only street deaths were involved, not the wounded. And recently, those involved in the accident did not differ by age.
“A 20-year-old initial driver is perhaps a greater risk to other road users than a 55-year-old man”, says Brockmann. /Telegraph/
