European Commissioner for Neighborship and Enlargement Oliver Varhely has said that after the February 14th elections in Kosovo, they are eager to work with the new government as soon as it is formed.
“We hope to see more political stability in the coming period so that Kosovo can speed up the reform process, including in areas such as rule of law and socio-economic development. We will continue to support Kosovo in its European agenda”.
It during Tirana's “Economic Forum”, which is being held online, has also talked about the visa process for Kosovars.
“Regarding visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens, the Commission estimates all conditions have been met. However, not all member states have yet been convinced. Therefore, we encourage Kosovo authorities to address the EU member states to address remaining concerns”, Varhely has said, Kosovo reports.
