Albanian midfielder Valon Behram has for the first time confessed why he did not come to play for the Kosovo National.
In an exclusive interview for Indexline, 4 times the participant in the world championships, has said Kosovo has not been interested in it.
Why didn't you come to represent Kosovo after UEFA's admission?
Valon Behram: First of all, nobody came to talk to me face-face. Until today, my family knows, a man hasn't come to talk to me in the face. A man didn't come with his mother, Vallon, are you coming to Kosovo with lu, are you coming with us? Anybody here? No! They all talked about money. What did I get in Switzerland? You never talk about money. We who have played for Switzerland, we never have a menu for money. You think those who play for Kosovo with a win at the world championship don't get money? People who don't know how to speak. We don't have our salary in Switzerland. Goes to the European championship, takes the premieres, goes to the world championship, takes the premieres.
Have you followed Kosovo's games and what do you think of developing it?
Valon Behram: Yeah, I followed them. I know the players and the coach. He's a coach who doesn't give your identity a game. He is strong motivational, but Kosovo players do not need them because we Albanians have strong anger. Even when we play with friends, we get angry. Depends on what a future program. So far we've been a new national, now we're familiar with the other teams. Teams coming to fight with Kosovo say, it's not tin. It's not the same as Andorra, Malta, etc. Teams coming to Kosovo to fight say, it's not a bad team. So it's hard to fuck before. For me Kosovo has been a great surprise, but I, my family, have a day of what quality it has. Foreign people don't have a day.
After you know Coach Challandes, do you think he has carried out his mission to Kosovo?
Valon Behram: He's a very good man. But talk to me about technique, I don't think he can raise the level. He technically doesn't know much than we do, many of us don't know, many of us don't study them. It's very motivating, it's energizing, baby. But today, eventually and technically, you should be prepared. He also has Swiss school, and they think they know everything and others don't know anything. To get me something higher, he has to find a coach who knows our mentality and knows how to lift the tactical level. The team is a lot of instincts when it goes ahead, but when you lose the ball, it takes me a day. I've seen some problems in those fights I've been watching.
For young Albanian players playing in Switzerland, what message do you have?
Valon Behram: Then one day, talk to me, two, three, four... the footballer realizes they're loving me very much. It's not the interest to call me once and you don't want to come, it's done. If you're gonna get me a player to convince a player, I'm gonna have to tell you what your plan is, what you think of him.
