Ambassador Sarkar has congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on taking office and has reaffirmed the will for continuing co-operation and cultivating further friendly relations between the two countries.
“Kurti thanked the ambassador for the congratulations and for Turkey's continued support through all stages of statehood through which Kosovo” has passed, the report said.
It was also stressed that at the meeting, the possibility of eliminating certain economic barriers that would facilitate investments and exchanges was discussed.
What stands out in announcing this meeting is that the two have not mentioned the issue of opening the Kosovo Embassy in Jerusalem, a move rejected by Turkey.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla said Tuesday that the Kosovo Embassy's case in Jerusalem is a work done.
