Rama for the death of MP Fino: Unbelievable, our good friend no longer lives.

Unbelievable, but unfortunately true, my friend, our good friend Bashkim Fino no longer lives! I have no words”, Rama wrote about the death of MP Fino.

Due to Fino's death, Rama has said electoral activities will be halted.

For our big family today is a day of mourning, our electoral activities will stop, in honor of the memory of our dear brother”, writes Rama.

Socialist MP Bashkino has been separated from life at the age of 59. He had been affected by COVIDD-19 for several days and his condition had deteriorated.

Bashkim Fino was born on October 12, 1962, in Gjirokastra. It was Albania's prime minister from 9 March 1997 to 29 June 1997. He conducted higher studies at the University of Tirana, the Economic Faculty, the Finance Branch. In 1992, Mr. Fino was elected mayor of Gjirokastra, which he held until 1996.

His political career in the Socialist Party is early. From 1997 onward, he was a member of the Socialist Party's headship. The peak of his career would be marked in 1997, where the country's prime minister would be elected in the national reconciliation government, which he would hold from March to July. Mr. Fino held several ministerial posts.

From 1997 to 1998, he exercised the office of Minister of Local Power, simultaneously, and Deputy Prime Minister. In 1999 until 2001, he would be minister of local government. During 2001-2002, he was Minister of Public and Tourism Affairs.
