The police official, Haris Kelmendi, had arrested them under suspicion that during 2018, he physically mistreated an 18-year-old man at the Pristina police station. The same had recorded the moment of mistreatment.
The victim of this case, Leotrim Rama, has testified in the Kosovo Police, that police official Haris Kelmendi has pressured him to change the statement.
Haris Kelmendi was also arrested on January 28th under suspicion of criminal activity “being mistreated during the exercise of official task”, but the same was later released.
Mehmet that the world was not in the position he is exercising now says that when he saw the video he felt extremely bad.
It is a behavior that we condemn, and in no way tolerate it, rather highly punish. You have seen that the police have been cooperating to clear this case, and it will be ready for all the cases to work on their bleaching”, Mehmet said on RTK's “Guides.
