Milan's coach, Stefano Pioli, spoke of the performance of the match after the 1-1 draw in Old Tuffford to Manchester United.
Manchester United and AC Milan equalled in the 1/8 first match of the Europe League final.
The goals were marked by Amad Dillo Min (50) and Simon Keyer Min (90+2).
After the match, Pioli expressed satisfaction with the appearance of “Rossons”.
“Comps of my players, the team played personality, tried to win the match, suffered a little bit in a few moments because the opponent had quality”, he said.
“I thought it was the right opponent for us, we're working to grow up and return to the titles where Milan deserves to be both in Italy and in Europe”, he added.
Pioli was also asked about the Kesieette goal, which was canceled by hand play.
It was a long way from staying away from me. I didn't see anything for that beautiful Franck goal. I was emotional because it was very important for us, but we were playing well, Cassie told me she had not touched the ball, but the judge's decision was different”, Pioli said.
“The spirit of the team for this race, the desire to command in the field, must have a high level of game, not yet satisfied. We're playing a lot of fights, we've got to keep going, and it's an important moment in the League and Europe League, and then we're going to see”, Stefano Pioli concluded.
