In a post on Chromium's blog, Google announced the new change that goes into effect with the 90th version for the desktop and Android browser.

This version is expected to debut on 13 April while on a later date comes to IOS. In short, if you write from the Bcworld.al address field, Chrome will automatically select https:// as the main protocol.

The only exception to this rule is the IP address or reserved hostnames. The change comes at a time when most of the web uses the HTTPS protocol today.

It's a secure protocol because it encryptions traffic which means personal information is not supported by third parties.

The sites will also be opened faster because Chrome is directly linked to the HTTPS protocol instead of checking for HTTP as well.

If a website does not have HTTPS, Chrome automatically passes to HTTP. / PCWorld Albanian
