Obadiah himself confirmed this through a Facebook post.
On Sunday, March 14th, I will run for the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
There will be no agreement; there must be! There will be competition and fair competition and secret ballot. We need a democratic selection process to maintain a high political standard. Let's set it free. Except the LDK can do that!
His scripture:
Yeah, I'll be a candidate!
On February 14 we received the most serious historical outcome. With only 12.6%, with only 110 thousand votes, we ranked in the lowest political thresholds. It was punishment from our people, from the citizens of our country, from those who once trusted us. Heavyer is the fall, but the most unforgivable of all would be our deep disregard for our journey forward. This road calls for change!
Therefore we thank and honor each one for his service. But the past is enough! Our political effort should stay today. Reforms must project the future. They must be deep and inevitable. Our ideological pillars survive time no humans!
Our political house must be restored to represent our good and good country again with honest, selective, knowledgeable, hardworking, and creditable people. Our inner minds must be strengthened, and our doors should be opened to each one with free, critical thinking and willing service to the country. Our attempt continues because the idea lives. And when the idea lives, recovery is inevitable; There's no way it's different.
Beyond the voter support I received again, in recent days by LDK members and supporters I have received a request to promote major change. Besides consideration, that's honor. Calls come from delegates, activists and voters from all Kosovo cities; from all generations of contributors; from all regions. On March 14, I will accept this request as a privilege and responsibility.
On Sunday, March 14th, I will run for the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
There will be no agreement; there must be! There will be competition and fair competition and secret ballot. We need a democratic selection process to maintain a high political standard. Let's set it free. Only the LDK can do that!
Of course, there are those who continue to insist, despite the current outcome, and that any changes existentially reject it. I don't understand them; I expect them, but I'm not expecting them. I still respect them for my opinion. I, however, see it differently. And that's the way I wait. Most people are updating because in decline we can stay calm for no price.
Therefore, until the day of the Parliament, I invite all of my fellow worshippers in LDK, all active activists, all people of the will for a change to join me and walk together on this new journey.
Yours,
Lumber
