Isa Mustafa speaks after Lumir Abdixhiku was elected LDK chairman

After that, former LDK leader Isa Mustafa said he already congratulated Lumir Abdixhiku on winning this race, until he said the election process was exemplary.

He also stressed that Abdixhiku today won majority confidence in the LDK Assembly.

The Democratic League of Kosovo today carried out a fairly fair process of domestic party elections, out of which it turned out that Abdixhiku received the majority of votes, leaving his counter-Candidists, Lutfi Haziri with 116 votes and Besian Mustafa with only 16 votes.

Some of the delegates present in this election process chose to abstain, so they did not vote for either of these three names.

After the outcome of the vote and the counting of votes, Lumir Abdixhiku was congratulated by nearly all in attendance, until Lutfi Haziri and Besian Mustafa were declared to support Abdixhiku at any moment for the LDK to move forward.

Following the LDK's poor result in the February 14th elections, Isa Mustafa made a decision to step down from the party's leadership, thus giving a new spirit of leadership to this political subject.

Prior to the start of the domestic election process today in the LDK, Isa Mustafa also officially declared he is resigning irrevocable from leading the party.

Lumir Abdixhiku is officially the fourth consecutive chairman in the LDK, following historic President Ibrahim Rugova, former leader Fatmir Sejdiu and former leader Isa Mustaf, who recently left the party's direction.
