The incumbent Minister of Health, Armend Zemaj, has spoken about the coming of vaccines against COVIDD-19, while Kosovo is the only country in the Western Balkans that has not yet begun with the process of vaccinating anti-cornavirus.
Heartj has said vaccines against COVID-19 is expected to come to Kosovo in the March-May period.
“We are waiting for the arrival to be realised. February was a date confirmed that vaccines arrive. In the March-May period, COVAX has announced that 100 800 vaccines will be distributed for Kosovo, but we continue to be engaged with other partnerships, with friendly states, with Pfizer and other vaccine producers to ensure more vaccines against COVID-19”
Anny was promised that these vaccines would come in February and that such a thing did not happen, Zemaj does not blame the ministry he runs, nor do other institutions.
The fact that we had no vaccines so far had nothing to do with the budget, nor with a lack of commitment, and much less with the failure to meet the conditions and criteria required by each producer and state to qualify to provide the vaccine. Even a single project linked to COVID-19 has not been prevented for budget shortages, despite circumstances”, Zemaj said of kI launched.tv.
