The forced migration of Kosovars' relatives caused many of Kosovo players to be born in different European states. Vedat Muriqi, Lazio's assailant, was a direct witness to the horrors of war. I was a kid, and when I asked my mother for bread, all we had was sewing and some bread. We ate bread and onions three times a day... so it was for almost two years.” Murriqi remembers. ”
