The Kosovo Football Federation has threatened Spain, which will not hold the qualifying match for the world's Puerto Rican 20220) with conditions proposed by Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The latter have submitted a special protocol to the Federation of Spain about the organisation of the meeting with Kosovo.
The main points of this protocol are these:
- Kosovo is not named sovereign.
- Kosovo's Himmin is considered music.
- The flags of the two states should not be placed next to each other.
The Kosovo Football Federation has warned that the issue will be brought to UEFA:
Kosovo will not make any concessions, we will play only according to the criteria and strict rules of U EFA, with the anthem and state flag, otherwise the match will not take place”
Indexline contacted UEFA, raising the question of whether the match can be held according to the conditions of the Federation of Spain. The European Football House has announced that competencies for organising this meeting hold FIFA.
The ruling in question falls under FIFA jurisdiction and is therefore directed by FIFA regulations.
We kindly refer to FIFA regarding your questions” as saying in UEFA's response.
