A day after being elected LDK deputy chairman, Albanian Medici, has said that this position in the party has not taken over at the best time.
She has cited the LDK's poor outcome in the elections, while adding that it is time for the party to return to pedestal.
“Through representation in LDK, under the leadership of Lumir, I will try to serve the people and the state of Kosovo”, writes Medici, among other things.

Yesterday, with the nomination of Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Dr. Lumir Abdixhiku, and with the support of the General Council, I have been elected vice president of the party. The time I'm joining LDK is not the best for him. In the last election, the LDK received the lowest percentage of votes since its founding 30 years ago. I understand that many of you feel angry with this result. But it is the best time for me and many others to contribute to the return of LDK to pedestal, where it belongs. The political spectre in Kosovo is flawed without the Democratic League of Kosovo, for which the development worked hard and sacricating numerous generations under the leadership of President Ibrahim Rugova. Through representation in the LDK, under Lumir's leadership, I will try to serve the people and the state of Kosovo. Thank you for your support.
