Bashkim Fino was born on October 12, 1962, in Gjirokastra. It was Albania's prime minister from 9 March 1997 to 29 June 1997. He conducted higher studies at the University of Tirana, the Economic Faculty, the Finance Branch. In 1992, Mr. Fino was elected mayor of Gjirokastra, which he held until 1996.
His political career in the Socialist Party is early. From 1997 onward, he was a member of the Socialist Party's headship.
