Zagreb's Dinamo coach Zoran Momic has resigned from running the legendary Croatian club just two days before the Tottenham return game in Europe.
The Supreme Court's decision in Croatia has been made, confirming his sentence of almost 5 years in prison for tax evasion and fraud. Zoran Momic, along with his brother Zdravko Mamic, were accused of avoiding paying millions of euros in taxes from the transfers of many Zagreb Dinamo football players to various European clubs.
It's about the period when Zdravko Mamic was executive director of Zagreb's Dinamo and Momic coach, while in 2018 the two brothers were sentenced to 5 years in prison.
They appealed the sentence, and the Supreme Court dropped only four months, leaving a final decision on serving prison for four years and eight months.
