The president of the Olympic Games organising committee “Tokio 2020”, 83-year-old Yoshiro Mori, has finished at the centre of the charges following his latest statement.
He thus commented on the International Olympic Committee's plan (IOC) to increase the number of women at the Steering Council to 40%.

This is considered a sexist statement and Miro's resignation has been requested, but he has refused to leave the post.
Yet, he has apologized for this expression.
