So serious was the accident that 45-year-old golfer world champion 15 times had to get out of the car from firemen and doctors.

The golf legend team has said that he has suffered severe fractures in his right leg and that the operation has gone well.

“He (Woods) is awake, reacting positively, and beginning to recover in the hospital room”, his team said.

Woods was lucky to be saved alive, the LA County Police Department said.
