Argentinian coach Jorge Sampaoli is named at the head of the first Olympique Marseille team.
The news was reported by the French club itself through a media communique.
Sampaoli signed a contract that will keep her in Marseille until 2023.
This is not the only change that has been made in Marseille. Pablo Longory is named president of the French Steering Board.
“Olympique de Marseille today is opening a new chapter in its big history” written in the communique.
Sampaoli was recently coach of the Atletico Mineiro team, while in the past he was the coach of Seville and the selective coach of Argentina.
