AC Milan has been working a few months to renew the contract to goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Italy is undisputed in the basic formation, but the contract expires next June.
Recently, Merkato expert Fabrizio Romano has explained that renovation is quite difficult because of the player's agent, Mino Raiola.
My “Milan is working with Raiola to find a choice. When Raiola is involved, it's never easy, because he wants a release clause for Donnarumma and there's no deal on the price or value of this release clause”.
So they're negotiating. AC Milan wants to keep Donnarumman and the player wants to stay. He's convinced he's on Milan's project that's going to be important in the next few years -- ”
So the Donarumma is open for attitude and Milan wants to keep it. That's why I think I'm gonna stay and sign the contract. But, for now, there is no complete agreement. We have to wait”, Romano said about CBS Sports.
