With precards on hands “Women's justice is political”, “Director for Hattije Dinah”, “Women's murder is political”, “Gjycat is a non-combat body injury”, the Association of Thoughts and Women's Action has held protests today before the Prizren Foundation Court.
This organisation has objected to a 15-year prison sentence for Ilir Hadziaj, who is accused of beating his wife, Hatije Dinah, who later died after being injured.
One of the organisers of this protest before the media said they are protesting to challenge the Constitutional Court's decision in Prizren.
She said the court ruling is unfair.
“Today we have gathered to protest the Constitutional Court's decision in Prizren for a 15-year prison sentence for Ilir Hadziaj, who in 2019 beat and killed his wife, Hatije Dinah, the decision we deem as unfair”, the protester has said.
She has already said that in the Prizren Constitutional Court's decision, the move is described as slight bodily injury, and that this is institutionalized violence.
