The candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) for prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, at the conclusion of the election campaign, said on Friday that the agreement he signed in Washington with President Trump reopened the closed gates of our allies and brought much good to the state, both in the field of economy, defence and diplomacy.
“We brought the Washington Agreement, which brings Kosovo $1 billion in investment and thousands of jobs, brought new recognition after three years of blockade, opened the US market for access to finance and, above all, empowered our special friendship with the United States. With this agreement, and with many other projects, I invite you to vote on the Democratic League, to make Kosovo a centre for innovation and technology”, Hoti said.
“With Democratic League, Kosovo contributes to preserving peace around the world, with Kosovo's girls and boys becoming part of the US Army on peacekeeping missions. With the rule of the Democratic League, Kosovo has been placed at the centre of the agenda of the United States of America”, Hoti said.
He indicated that at last, everyone has realised that on September 4, 2020, the most important agreement for Kosovo has been signed in Washington since its declaration of independence, agreement empowering Kosovo's sovereignty.
The other “had no vision of the importance of this agreement. We alone have proved that we do not hold back from challenges. Only we make promises. Above all, by voting the Democratic League, you respect tradition, commitment to state”, Prime Minister Hoti said.
Hoti has invited all citizens, of all ages, to vote on Sunday's election to vote on the Democratic League of Kosovo with the number 132.
By voting the women and men on our list, you vote for your real voice, for those with you who dreamed, worked and built Kosovo, independent and sovereign state, democratic state. Kosovo, with us in government, keeps friends on both sides of the Atlantic”, Prime Minister Hoti said in the end.
