AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has criticised Vetevendosje Movement for the idea of dialogue continuing with local Serbs, as well as the decision to participate in Albania's elections.
Haradinaj, through a Facebook status, has said that domestic dialogue with only minority representatives and saw any Serb electoral powers from the central part of Kosovo, not only could it be selective, but also a bad signal for the unitary character of the state.
This is his full status:
Kosovo today, of the new election winners, awaits the creation of institutions as soon as possible and the fulfillment of the obligations emerging from the Constitution, including domestic and external dialogue, that the only definition has the preservation of the country's sovereignty and integrity and unitary character of the state.
Internal dialogue with only minority representatives and saw any Serb electoral power from the central part of Kosovo, not only could it be selective, but also bad signal for the unitary character of the state.
I also consider the haste to participate in parliamentary elections in Albania premature, and I fear that, if not for participants in this election itself, others will see it as a trick and opportunity to restore old scenarios for division.
At least this could be considered a kind of powerless to face the indisposed integration of the country's north!
