FIBA Europe Executive Director Kamil Novak, through a letter, has thanked the Kosovo Basketball Federation (FBK) for the successful organisation Flluska in Pristina.
On behalf of FIBA Europe, I want to express my gratitude for your federation and the Local Organising Committee. Thank you for the efforts made to host the Fullusque of the FIBA 2023 World Basketball Cup Pre-Kulificors from February 15th to February 21, 2021 in Pristina.
We appreciate your commitment to successfully organise the bubble, a non-slight task in this Pandivist Frame-19 scenario with some restrictions towards travel and organisation of events.
We appreciate your support and commitment to include your state authorities to get the necessary permits and/or exceptions to facilitate the players' entry and position in your country.
Despite all difficulties, together with you and your team, we have been able to overcome all obstacles and finish the planned events in a successful manner.
We hope to expect further events in your country”, says the letter from Novak, sent FBK's.
From 15 to 21 February, 4 national, Kosovo, Iceland, Slovakia and Luxembourg were accommodated in Pristina, until the matches took place on February 18th and 20th. Despite the difficulties and the situation with David-19, The FBK has organised the race in Kosovo's capital in the best way, receiving praise from FIBA Europe.
The FBK earlier hosted the European Championship, U18 Men's Division C and the U20 Women's European Division B, and will host the U16 Men's Europe Division during this summer.
