The fourth Judge, Sebastian Coltescu, is reported to have used the words “ala negru” which is translated into English “When asked by Judge Octavian Sovre who should be expelled after an incident in the 14th minute of the match at Parc des Princess.
The fourth judge was referring to Pierre Webo as the “black boy”.
The match was interrupted and was held the next day with a new group of judges.
The statement published by UEFA reads: “after an investigation conducted by Ethical Inspector and Discipline U n EFA in connection with events leading to the break-up of the Champions League match between Paris Saint-Germain and Istanbul Basaxehir FK on 8 December 2020, procedures have been opened against Mr. Cebatian Constantin Coltescu and Mr. Octavian Sovre for a possible violation of Article 11 of UEFA disciplinary regulations”.
