In the Electoral Panel for Anxiety and Parastance, the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court will complain representatives of non-Serb communities about votes allegedly delegated to the Roma Initiative and the Adrijana Hodzic Initiative.
The chairman of the Egyptian Liberal Party in Kosovo, Veton Berisha, says they will complain in all instances of justice to prove their right. For such a move, he says they are also co-ordinating with representatives of the Bosniak community's parties, Ashkali, Roma, Goran and the Ombudsman Institute.
He says they have enough arguments to contest the votes the two parties have received in the residential countries 100 per cent with Serbs. Such a dispute, Berisha believes they will reach it as early as the first complaint they will make at PZAP, as according to him it is clear that there are votes through which the free will of Kosovo citizens is being manipulated.
“In each case we as an Egyptian community have enough expertise to complain to the Roma Initiative, an initiative which is based on the current outcome in the CEC will get two MPs, which in this case receives a mandate even to the Egyptian community, because in normal conditions the Egyptian community has emerged from the Roma community and Ashkali. In this case, their growth takes a mandate from the Egyptian community, and we as an Egyptian community will complain the Roma Initiative because we have the correct expertise to that. The same issues are said by Bosniaks, from Gorani, from other communities. Normally, we are co-ordinating our actions and we will complain, it means that we have co-ordination with the ombudsman first at PZAP, we will also complain at the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court. I remain very hopeful that this process will be clarified at the first level of our complaints at PZAP because they will find that voters are not of that community”, he says.
The silence of Kosovo institutions on claims that the Serbian List has delegated votes for two political parties, Berisha calls it meaningless, until he says that if these countries reserved for non-Serb communities are controlled by Serbs, Kosovo democracy is also damaged.
“Mandon does not bear responsibility for the riskiness of this process, then democracy is violated, then all of this contribution that has been made to the stability of communities or that communities feel good in Kosovo reject a contribution of 20 years. You can't help communities feeling comfortable in this country, because in this country institutions would have to protect us, until institutions do not act with facts known to them and do not take actions that we can maintain the right to represent in Kosovo normally that didn't feel good and we have to feel insecure in Kosovo. This would damage very large processes not only a mandate of the Egyptian community, but it would open the possibility that there would be extraordinary blockades”, he says.
Democratic Progressive Party Chairman Nenad Rassic, even though he has not participated in the February 14th elections, says he will co-ordinate actions with representatives of non-Serb communities to contest votes for the two initiatives.
Rashiqi, who had supported the Civic Initiative for Freedom, Justice and Survival led by Milan Dabiq, says there is sufficient evidence showing that the Serbian List has delegated votes for non-Serb minority parties.
The “was clear to all, you know, I have proof, we have Bosnians' votes, either for Bosniaks or for the Roma Initiative in countries where there are absolutely no Roma or Bosniaks. I also know people who voted and lobbied. I know they apologized to me too, but they ordered us. It's all already clear, I don't think there's any need to be spoken of”, he says.
He says he will complain to all justice institutions to contest those votes that are for the Roma Initiative and the Adrijana Hodzic Initiative in municipalities where those communities do not live.
I think this is quite realistic and quite justified, and we will also probably be a co-prosecutor in the sense that we are most likely to be with representatives of the Bosniak and Roma parties that have been damaged in this process or believe they have been damaged in this process. We will join them in a joint trial process against the vote because I know that in my country and here there were many votes for Hodzica (Adria) and for the Roma Initiative if we will be part of that group of damaged representatives who have absolute right to complain, because we all know that it was brutally organized and without mercy”, says Raspic.
A complaint to claims that the Serbian List has supported two political parties with the goal of controlling even non-Serb communities has surrendered to the Ombudsman's institution. Through a written answer, this institution has confirmed that this complaint is under consideration.
“A complaint on the case is under consideration in the Ombudsman's institution, but once we don't have any response until complaints are considered”, it says in response.
Claims that the Serbian List has delegated votes for the Roma Initiative and Adrijana Hodzic Initiative have been considered dangerous for the country's democracy and that it is meant to get 14 votes in the Kosovo Assembly
These two initiatives in the February 14th elections have managed to get thousands of votes even in municipalities where there are no members of the communities they reportedly represent, thus leaving out of the Kosovo Assembly political parties that have consistently represented these communities.
