The British government has announced that as many as 10,000 fans can participate in football matches between mid-May, as part of the easing of safeguard clause protection measures.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson presented a plan to ease measures in four steps, and in the third phase, sports arenas may be open to the public.
The third phase could begin on May 17th, while the season at the Premier League is expected to be completed on 23 May.
In stadiums with a capacity of more than 40,000 countries, the presence of up to 10,000 fans will be allowed. Up to a quarter of the capacity will be allowed in smaller sports facilities.
The government has said it will start researching the way sports events are organised without social distance, using equipment such as testing.
In December, up to 2,000 people were allowed to attend stadiums in England, but later the public was again banned from spreading a new type of coronavirus.
