So said Kosovo Business Alliance Chairman Agim Sahini.
In addition to losing the workplace, Sahin has stressed that around 150 thousand private sector workers have trouble getting wages, as he says from the pandemic crisis more than 10,000 operators have collapsed throughout Kosovo.
In order for jobs not to disappear, the Kosovo Government's intervention to support businesses is necessary, Sahin says.
The private sector should be the main focus of the government and have increased attention to local business as a partner to be equally treated without privileges because we consider the government to be a state at the moment it sits in office and it should take into account the consequences of Covid-19, which have left the consequences in many areas, especially in the country's economy, which, as a consequence, more than 50,000 unemployed people have been left in salaries as well as more than 150 thousand workers in the private sector. During this time in Kosovo we have a close and bankruptcy and the extinction of the economic activities of more than 10,000 operators throughout Kosovo”, he told Online Economy.
