The dead body of 25-year-old Cassia Lenhardt was found Tuesday by police at her apartment in Berlin.
Cassia has been in a romantic relationship with the Bavarez defender for more than a year, but the couple split up last week (February 2nd).
The footballer had confirmed the divide through a post published on social networks writing: “As known by the media, I ended my relationship with Cassia Lenhardt”.
The grave event has forced the 32-year-old to withdraw from the final of the Cluj World Cup held tomorrow ( Thursday) in Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan in Qatar.
“Hansi Flick confirmed that Jerome Boateng will return to Munich before the final for personal reasons”, writes in a Bayerni announcement.
