First Joint Activity to See U Victors EFA EURO 2020, Italy in front of ONMEBOL Copa América 2021, Argentina in a match called “Finalissima” in London on June 1, 2022. Now this match becomes official tradition after U EFA and CONMEBOL have signed today the renovation of the Memorandum of Co-operation between the two confederations until June 30th, 2028.
The agreement was reached during the meeting held through video conference between presidents and members of the two confederation Executive Committees, attended by FSHF President Armand Duka, in the quality of the UEFA Executive Committee member. Also, among the essential points of this strategic co-operation is confirmation of the interaction in the union between the two confederations in the function of the growth of interccistanal and global football.
It has also agreed to organise matches between national teams of both continents, without burdening the current calendar and enabling an attractive sports model for the public. Finally, the intensifying of co-operation in areas such as women's football, arbitration (as was exchange of referees to two European peak competitions and Copa America), development and exchange of educational knowledge, training and age teams.
