On the day that the Netherlands is back in solitary confinement because of Coved, Rotterdam police had to intervene with water margins to distribute “several dozen times” aggressors near the De Kuip Stadium in the port city, just before the match between Feyenward and Ajax.
According to the Dutch news agency ANP, the bus of friends was targeted by smoke bombs and fireworks after arriving at the stadium.
A group of 100-150 people also threw fireworks and bottles at the police, who carried out several arrests.
