Manchester City's star Benjamin Mendy will spend Christmas behind bars in the hard jail, having been charged with a chain of rapes.
The 27-year-old left guard is being held in HMP Altcourse since his first appearance in court in August, Periscopi broadcasts.
He is charged with seven rape cases and a sexual assault on five women over 16 years of age.
The nature of the charges means that Mendy will spend the holiday period with dangerous prisoners in the prison of McMerseyside.
Mendy will remain in prison until the preliminary date of the trial, which is 27 June or August 1st of next year, as three bail requirements were rejected.
