Italian authorities are expected to question Manchester United's star, Cristiano Ronaldo, about his transfer to Juventus three years ago.
The 26-year-old Portuguese joined Juventu from Real Madrid in 2018 and was mentioned as the case, the newspaper Express broadcast.
Juventus has been accused of providing false information about Ronaldo's transfer in order to respect Fair Play financial regulation.
Italian consumer watchdogs Codacons say there may be a severe punishment for Juventu if convicted, with a possible outcome of the decline from the category together, while the winning titles of Serie A will be removed.
Tottenham Managing Director Fabio Paratic is also investigating the issue after he left the club only this summer, along with Ronaldon.
The striker, who scored his 801st career goal against Arsenal, is only being questioned at this stage and is not being investigated. He can return to Italy to respond to the authorities.
