Former Environment Minister Lefter Coca has been arrested this morning at his residence in Durres, on special prosecution orders.
As media reports in Albania, prison arrest measures have been appointed to the former minister.
The former minister is charged with <x0 use of task”, “money laundering” and “corruption” at the time he headed the Ministry of Environment.
Lefter Coca won the mandate of the Durres deputy under the SP's signal in the recent 25 April elections, but a few months later gave up the mandate.
He has held the post of environment minister since 2013-2017.
