Manchester United moves to the 1/16th phase of the League Champions final as leader of its group.
The Red Days have played equal to 1:1 of Young Boys' Swiss, in what was the first match for Ralph Rangnick as the coach of Man Utd in Champions League.
The English started out better, and soon they found the goal of superiority. It was Greenwood who sent the ball to the net in the ninth minute.
Greenwood's goal assisted left-wing defender Luke Shaw.
However, just before the end of the first part, Young Boys reacted with Rieder's goal, which led to 1:1.
That goal also proved to be the one who seals the fate of this meeting. Unitede goes this way to the next stage with 11 points collected and group leaders, until Young Boys close the five-point adventure in its final position.
